    Default AL cable/wire history

To myself, prior a home inspection, a null hypothesis is vital and for several reasons. I do not like being steered in any direction.

Last weeks inspection started by the clients steering me over the phone. I tried explaining, please do not worry. I will get the job done. But they were anxious.
One such direction, AL circuits. Their engineer based family member told them the circuits were AL. She saw ALCAN label on the jacket. ALCAN made copper cables as well.

I have seen AL under a rubber and cloth insulator. 2 cases. It was not tinned copper. Definately AL.
Looking for historical data on AL and cloth jacket labels. Been to Danial Fredman's Inspectapedia.
    Thanks in advance.
