06-29-2008, 01:20 PM #1 Smoke Detector from Hell Smoke Detector from HellI have a smoke detector that is giving me grief.

The friggin thing chirps every night between 12-1am almost daily. Scares the poor Yorkie too death.

It is hard wired and has a battery back-up. I've replaced the batteries a few times with new batteries from different locations.

 Anyone have a clue?

They sent a new replacement model, hard-wired unit with battery backup, no questions asked, and the problem was solved.

Price of a good nights sleep? Priceless.
