Breaker Arrangement
Found this in a house today and I am not sure about the problem if there is one. All the 120v breakers are on one leg and all but one 220v breakers are on the other. I feel this should be balanced with the 120v better am I wrong? I know the 220v draws from both legs. There are double and triple taps also.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Breaker Arrangement
On the C-H buss, as with most, the buss fingers alternate like interlaced fingers A-B-A-B. There is little value in trying to balance a residential panel due to the way the loads flucuate during the day. Balancing a three phase balance is more benificial.

Actually the 120s are not all on the same leg, they are on the same side.
No problem
