Too many other things in that photo to worry about, some of which I just have questions on, some of which are needed.

Re: Electrical cable contact with TV cable
If something is going to become energized, it's a *whole* lot more likely going to be the case of the furnace where that NM enters it...

My major concern where Lo Volt is in physical contact with AC is at the exterior, especially the service drop, where wires are subject to physical abrasion, UV damage, and are going to get wet.

Gentlemen,

If that furnace is rated to lay on it's side Why do the installation instructions Read bottom
to Top and Gas line routed under?

I still do not Like Styrofoam as supports for Heating Appliances.

If you have ever seen it burn you would know why.

Now you are getting to one of the items I was asking about (but had not asked about yet, I was waiting for other to pick up on it).

That unit 'looks to me' like it is designed to be installed vertically.

From the air vent (which would be horizontal if installed vertically) to the unseen 'is the gas burner and heat exchange designed to be installed on its side like that? To other questions.

Jerry,

Gas flex line has a severe indent in it.

Not sure of the material of apr 10 inch nipple appears corroded.

Drain system looks questionable.

Still DO NOT LIKE STYROFOAM.

Rust in the pan under the evap coils - clogged overflowing condensate or coils? Is that evap even meant to lay sideways?

What is that 'goo' around the line set where it enters the evap?

What kind of tape is that around the edges of the evap?

Re: Electrical cable contact with TV cable
Flex appears to be passing through side wall of furnace. "Not allowed"!!

As Jerry indicated looks like a vertical unit at rest on it's side.

Re: Electrical cable contact with TV cable
NM cable entering the cabinet without a connector.
Wiring on the decking is a trip hazard.
Looks like possible white teflon tape on the right side gas line connections.
Rust in pan.
No trap on secondary line.
No visible electrical disconnect at equipment.
T-lines are not capped
Wiring laying across the emergency drain pan.
And there is some rodent droppings behind that equipment.
