Exterior switch height requirement?
Exterior lightswitch with an exterior type switch cover, but it was only about 8" from ground/grade. Is there any height requirment for exterior switches? Not even sure what it was for, irrigation well pump maybe.

Matthew - This is one of those questions where some of us immediately look over to the right to see where you live and work. Please fill that in by clicking on "User CP" at the upper left.

It does help to answer certain questions if you know what part of the country people live in. Insulation, ventilation etc. Some people post questions and never return and a possible lively discussion could be thwarted due to lack of location.
