Psychedelic FP breaker
Found this today, Federal Electric panel, anyone know if it's from the '60s?
Note the "normal" color on the side???

I believe that they are an "after market" breaker. However, I have never seen one that has part black before. Usually the whole case is the weird color.

Are you sure that's an FPE? Looks more like a Wadsworth or Bryant or something like that.

I've seen them, straight out of their boxes that way, from the factory. I think they were using recycled plastic or maybe it was just the mix. Being part one color and part another color is not a problem as when the breakers are assembled, the person assembling them grabs one part from one bin, another part from another bin, and ...
