Well inside foundation and termite treatment found
I found an active shallow well and pump today inside a basement. The house is 47 years old. There had been a termite treatment about 25 years ago. Also, homeowner or friend must have recently replaced the pressure tank and pump. I wrote it up, knowing that lender etc. won't let it pass and the pest inspector told Realtor about a potential 10k fine and more for passing this. I can't find anything written about the potential problems and violations. I don't know whether to look at Enviromental Health or Plumbing. Any ideas? Thanks.
