Thread: Staining from mice?

I found several stains at various ceiling areas in this house. It is a vacant property and there were multiple mouse traps around and evidence of mouse tunneling in the attic insulation.

These stains were not near plumbing but were testing wet right at the stain.
Is it possible that this is from a mouse infestation?

Rodents will usually use the same area in the attic for urinating and you'll usually see a large amount of droppings in the same area.

Or it could have been the Plumber.

OK, that's what I was thinking but the insulation was blown in so I didn't have full access for investigation.

Any other thoughts would be helpful..
