additional data logging with 1027
I know that the new Sun Nuc 1029 logs temperature, humidity and barometric pressure and that give you and advantage in explaining fluctuations in radon readings. I have 1027's and they don't do that. To upgrade to the 1029 is about $1500 a pop so the cost is prohibitive to me at the current time.
What about stand alone loggers for the other data? Do any of you use these or have any opinions about the idea? I would like to try something like this if I can find a device that is not too expensive. Do you know of any?
Here is one example. >> TR-73U - TandD Temperature Humidity and Barometric Pressure Data Logger

I have used the Hobo Data Logger with good success.

Bruce,
Do you use just temperature and humidity only? Are those the best parameters to detect possible tampering such as ventilation attempts that some crooks will do during testing?

Yes. I wish it also had a motion detector to record if the device was moved. I used the Hobo with E-PERMs.

John, take a look at Radalink Telemonitors. They have all the data monitors and you can lease them. There service is also very good.

The 1027's do have a motion detector.
I can't justfy leasing Radalink since I don't do enough radon tests, yet.
