A First for Me
I pulled the bottom element cover on an electric water heater today and found dead swarmers and shelter tubes behind the panel. Never saw that before.
The house by the way did have live termites in the basement.

By the looks of the rust on the bottom of that tank, I would assume that maybe the termites could be coming up through a crack in the concrete below the tank to obtain some moisture and warmth.
