California Bans In-Home Ozone Air Purifiers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The California state Air Resources Board has banned the use of in-home ozone air purifiers, beginning in 2009.

The ban was ordered yesterday after the board reviewed studies that found the purifiers can worsen conditions such as asthma that marketers claim the devices prevent....
