Re: CBC and Marketplace Investigate with Mike Holmes
Tarion heads, the city officials involved and most of all the builder should be jailed.
The suffering of these home owners can not have a price tag put on it.
Where are the lawyers that should be jumping thru hoops to get involved.

Re: CBC and Marketplace Investigate with Mike Holmes
Given that the town has E&O insurance and hopefully the builder its easy to guess who the lawyers will chase. In my opinion the town was 95% negligent. After all they are a public authority enacted by legislation to protect the public and ensure the public will be protected from blatant negligence.
As for the new home warranty program Tarion the board is stacked with builders and its a well known fact that homeowners with issues might as well pee into the wind.

Re: CBC and Marketplace Investigate with Mike Holmes
The former president of Tarion (Aubrey LeBlanc) has been retained by our association as CEO to lobby on behalf of our home inspection association. Strangely the former president over saw the same incompetence and indifference towards the new home buying public.
