    Default useful life of pressure treated?

    Plan on replacing some decking on a 22 year old deck, when should I think of replacing the joist system?

    Yes. (Plan on it now.) You may be surprised to find lumber in good condition, but if the decking is in bad shape, chances are the dimensional lumber has suffered the same fate.
