    Default mystery boxed-in thingys

Anyone have a clue what this is? There were 3-4 of them around the base of the rear porch. The owner didn't know. The house is about 80 years old. There was extremely poor access under the porch.
Not a big deal (I hope!) for the buyers. Any suggestions gladly accepted.

Mabey those were used as anchors for an old porch cover before it was enclosed. Mabey they had a hot air ballon tied to them. MAbey they tied the kids to them
Forget all that. Those are to tie the brokers to so they keep out of our hair. Every house should have one.
