Worst deck ever
This was the worst deck I have ever seen in an occupied house. Elderly lady lived in the house, just went to assisted living. I guess her kids closed off the door from the bedroom (the only access) at some point, but I had concerns walking under this thing to get into the basement.

Jack,

Yep, I'd say you win the prize on that one. Good thing you inspected below before walking on it.

Re: Worst deck ever
Guess that old saying, "Mom is in a much better place now." has a new meaning now.

Re: Worst deck ever
Someone recently posted a classic picture of a second story "door to nowhere", but now I can't find it. Anybody remember where it was posted?

- Thanks
