    Default What in the world...

    I saw this metal flex line during an inspection. It is attached to a wood pellet stove. Does anybody know it's function?

    I'd bet on fresh air intake for the combustion air. Looks crazy.

    Ron, I think they removed the clothes dryer they had on the roof before you showed up. Was there any lint in the hose?

    I agree, looks like combustion air.

    Did you happen to get a pic of the A.C. unit in the back ground? I'd kinda like to see how the ducts entered the attic on a pitched roof like that.

    Is that common there?, you dont see it much here.

    That may be an evaporative cooler instead of an AC unit. We have those all the time here on the roof.
