handyman's roof and chimney
This morning. Handyman who lived there forever was proud of his recent roof coating (elastomeric over rolled roofing over raised-seam metal) but didn't seem to notice the chimney.

Here's the interior shot. It's a shared chimney, but the flue divider didn't quite make it to the top.

Re: handyman's roof and chimney
Yeah, really. I mean, 90% of the chimneys in Philly are held together with roofing tar and don't have wythe walls separating flues. Picky, picky, picky.
Next thing you know, John will be wanting those flues unblocked. You just can't seem to satisfy some people....
Keep the fire in the fireplace.
