    Default older flue pipe identification help

    This is an abandoned flue that used to serve an oil fired floor furnace. Can someone please educate me on what type it is and whether it is likely reinforced with asbestos fibers as its appearance would suggest.

    Look up Transite. It is asbestos containing material.
