Greetings From the Roofs of Philadelphia
I was struck with a vision of genius this morning as I stood on the roof of a south Philly rowhome..................greeting cards with pictures of the finest chimneys the City of Brotherly Love has to offer.
Here are some I am considering for my first card. I think it will be a get-well card and the inside will say.......
"And you think you've got problems?"

Re: Greetings From the Roofs of Philadelphia
Dave, I personally have never had a problem or been bothered in any area of Philly so I can't say there is any area of the city where I don't feel safe. Decrepit chimneys are the norm in Philadelphia. I'm sure John Arnold could start his own roof-top greeting card line too.

Here's part of the Dallas skyline in Addison a few weeks back when we had some really heavy fog move in.
This was shot from a highrise. No chimneys in sight.

Re: Greetings From the Roofs of Philadelphia
I once had a job to deconstruct a chimney that was on top of Old Donation Church, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The chimney was built in the 1800's and was in better shape than all of those!
