    Default flue clearance and installation

    see any problem with the flue height etc on this roof.

    Noted this Bvent should be 1" to combustables as well right?

    Other than it's not at least 2 ft higher than any portion of the building within 10 feet ?

    Not counting the sloped roof, but referring to the wall nearby, right?

    Each slope roof has a minimum height above it, I believe it starts at 1 foot.

    Now, if that wall is within 8 feet, the gas vent needs to be 2 feet higher than the wall/roof at the wall.

    Of course, they are also supposed to be vertical too (just not sure how far off vertical is allowed where it comes out above the roof).

    Single wall vent Reference IRC 2006 2427.7.3 = 10 feet
