Hindsight always being 20/20, maybe next time if you ever see one like that you might want to pull your ladder up or carry a small 6' and go up and take a peek. Also the telescoping mirrors (large size) can also help with stuff like that.

I would have loved to see if that was a straight shot down? Couldn't be, but, if it was, what do they do every time it rains?

Sometimes if I cant see into it or it is just out of eye sight I will hold my camera over it and try to take a pic of it so I can look when I get home.
