Chimney / Ceiling rafters
Anyone seen this before? Personally I have never seen any chimney bricks sitting directly on ceiling rafters.

Curious, How could this be corrected?

This chimney obviously has a zero clearance to combustibles. The code calls for clearance based upon location (interior versus exterior). What are your recognized repair options?
