Fireplace separation from furnace return
Where, exactly, is the min 10' separation documented?

To what types of fireplaces does it apply?

Is it expressly documented somewhere for wood burning stoves as well?

Can someone provide the exact wording?

Thanks

2005 Oregon Residential Specialty Code

Look under M1602 (this is from the Oregon Residential Specialy Code mechanical code section).

Hope this helps
