wind baffle/ spark arrestor
I thought that the flue should not have extend above the wind baffle in this arrangement. It was alittle strange. I am not very strong in this chimney area. Anyone have any comments for this?

Re: wind baffle/ spark arrestor
That "wnd baffle" you refer to appears to be an unlisted shroud and should be removed. They are known to constitute a fire hazard. Unless you can find a listing sticker on them, consider shrouds unlisted and therefore a hazard.

HTH,
Bob
