Gratitude
Today was my Mother's service. It was a hard day. We had my Mother's thimble collection (a small sample) on display along with a bunch of photos. One of her nurses was talking about my Mom, and told the story of my Mom getting thimbles in the mail from her son's home inspector friends, and how excited she was, and how she would go down to lunch, or the bingo games, and show them off.
I want to thank those of you that took the time to send those thimbles. Even when she was having bad days, she would really perk up when there was anything to do with thimbles.
Thanks again.

Re: Gratitude
Jack, it seems like yesterday when the call went out for thimbles. I can remember the positive response that you got from your fellow home inspectors across the county.
May the Peace of the Season be with you and your family. It will be difficult without Mom but when it gets tough just look at the thimbles and remember the good times and rest assured she is in better hands.
You and your family our in our prayers.

Re: Gratitude
Just a thought Jack, you might consider taking those thimbles and making some type of wall display that could be used in the home your mom was at in her honor or at her church she may have attended, so that all of the other ladies and folks their could admire them too.
I'm sure your mother would like that since she liked them so.
