what could go wrong?
A realtor sent me a bunch of amusing photos. This is my favorite.

Well, as long as you are doing it all wrong you might as well keep it ALL wrong ... such as using that not-allowed-foil-dryer-connector stuff. Just adds to the "all wrongness" of it.
I was surprised to not see the top of that water heater covered in lint.

Those things make me smile. One always needs a good laugh. It makes one wonder just how many people out there have absolutely no thought process. Also I wonder how many times they have to relight the water heater.
I guess they were thinking (absolutely not) that what a wonderful way to get rid of all that lint build up. We can just burn it off.

It's a self cleaning dryer vent, as long as the water heater flue burns out the lint......
