    I don't think you can blame the generation that raised them.

    The problem is these kids can't separate the crap they see in video games, movies and from the idiots on shows like Jackass on MTV from true reality.

    Nope.

    'Back then', the stupid just did not survive as they do today. Not unless they were also 'lucky', today, they actually do many things less than we did, and thus more survive.

    Which is more insane: Jumping down that stair rail onto the handrail? Being pulled behind a car at 50-60 mph on a skate board?

    I think that *we* were just more protective of certain body parts than they are now. I mean, he even said 'hope they break my fall' or something to that effect. *HE KNEW* he was going to get hurt, he just was not aware of *how much* it was going to hurt.
