Default they all look beautiful at closing time.

Inspected a house on friday, 90 year old house no equipment grounds on any of the outlets, just happen to know the part time sparkie the Real estate called , he said he would have the house ready monday morning closing with all the circuits grounded to make customer happy. He said all he had to do was put a jumper wire between the ground nut on outlet to the neurtral side of outlet and zambo you have grounded outlet . You can fool any inspector because they dont open up outlets to check what is going on.

Well no, as most good inspectors would see the lack of grounding conductors in the panel after they open it.

Did you take the opportunity to tell him what a dumb arse he was and that he is definitely NO electrician, part time or otherwise?
