Thread: certified mail

The other day I got a notice in my mailbox for a certified letter. It was a full day before I picked it up. I was nervous thinking that someone was pissed and perhaps going to sue.

It turned out to be a product recall notice for wire size gauges. Whew!!!!

I hated the feeling but the relief was nice.

I guess it doesn't hurt to get a scare now and then. Keeps you on your toes.

I know the feeling all to well. Came in one day to find a notice that I had a certified letter that had to be picked up at the post office. This was on a Friday, so all weeked I anticipated it being from an attorney or something of a complaint.

Monday morning I was at the Post Office first in line to pick the certified letter. Come to find out it was so cheesy letter from one of those scumbag companies who push the auto warranties.

Those where my exact thoughts, also. My wife told me I was paraniod. Went today to pick up my certified letter and it was the same... recall for the wire gauge. Went home and made myself a nice drink!

My wife said the same thing. I guess we gotta give em credit now and then huh?

I get that sick feeling when I see in my mail box a letter from an attorney's office. It's always payment that was included at the closing though
