new IN logo, font
I see Brian has changed the IN logo/font, above.
I really hope he didn't make the change to placate the recent poster who seemed to think there was some kind of evil message in the old one.

Re: new IN logo, font
Even someone with an extremist view point, can sometimes have an idea that makes sense. Even though I didn't see anything wrong with the other font, it was somewhat peculiar. This new font is much easier to look at.

Re: new IN logo, font
I was wondering the same thing yesterday. I thought the old font was a little odd but I liked it. It reminded me of 'merry ole England and stories of folklore'. Not that I would know much about that beyond watching old movies.

Re: new IN logo, font
No, the change wasn't because of that post (which I still can't figure out) but it was a change that I wanted to make for a long time. OK, maybe it was because of that post, it got me to finish up what I had started.
I had created the IN favicon a while ago so that it would appear in the browser URL, tabs and favorites. I like the simple look and makes logos and embroidery much easier. I think it is good for branding as this logo should be easily recognizable. I wanted the new logo to reflect the simplicity of the favicon.
The Old InspectionNews font was take from the LA Times,
New York Times
etc. to capture the "News" feel from these established Newspapers.
That was great but it was hard to read.
I hope you all like the new logo and don't read anything into it.
Thank you to all of you for your continued support!
