It is with great sadness that I must share with you that my father, Jim Farmer passed away from complications due to a stroke yesterday. I apologize for contacting you by email with this sad news but I want to make sure that I contact all of his friends. We will be arranging a celebration of life memorial for my father and I will let you know about further information as soon as possible.

Jim Farmer was a very active CREIA & ASHI member for many years putting a great deal of his time into bettering the industry for all involved from the inspector to the consumer.

I have know Jim for the past 15 years and he will be greatly missed.

We will be having a Celebration of Life Memorial for my Father next Wednesday and I would like to extend and invitation for anyone to come and celebrate Jim and his amazing life. It will be located at the Veteran's Plaza at the Rancho Tapo Community Park. Celebration of Life Memorial for Jim Farmer
Wednesday - May 26th at 1pm
Rancho Tapo Community Park and Veterans Plaza
3700 Avenida Simi, Simi Valley, CA

Please note that this park is behind the Simi Valley DMV and Courthouse that are located on the corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo. Although the physical address to the park is Avenida Simi, the easiest way to get to the Veteran's Plaza is not actually by that street. From Tapo Canyon, please turn left onto Alamo and go to Veterans Plaza Parkway which is the entrance to the DMV and Courthouse parking lot (it does have an intersection light). Once you have turned into Veterans Plaza Parkway, you will see the park on your left which shares the same parking lot with the DMV and Courthouse.
