Twin Cities Metro HIs
I was wondering if anyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area might be willing to have me tag along on an inspection. I could act as scribe/photographer/extra pair of eyes to help out. I'm not an HI (as many of you know!), but would like to get better at my job, and I'm interested in eventually becoming an HI. I had no real-world training for my insurance surveys, it was all online, and I'd really like to be in the field with someone who knows a lot.
And let me assure anyone who's wary because they think I might be really chatty and have all kinds of questions based on my participation here - I am very sensitive to that kind of thing, and don't want to break anyone's concentration. I would be happy just to observe.

ASHI supports ride-alongs. Go here to find ASHI inspectors in your area. You can also find where the local chapter meets and do some face to face meeting to encourage them to offer ride-alongs

Thanks, Bruce! Why haven't I looked at that site before?! They offer some pretty reasonably priced classes. Interesting site!
