Re: slow
This board has been slow since the new changes were implemented. Clicking the Back Button takes way too long to refresh the page.
Maybe it's the ads.
I prefer the speed of the old board.

Re: slow
I've only noticed it the last few days. I thought it was my computer, but, everything else just zips along nicely.

Re: slow
I think Brian is having a back-to-school hand gun sale for the folks in Philadelphia...
I hear that if they catch-you without a gun at the school entry, they issue you one.

I am not seeing any difference.

Re: slow
The speed varies.
I suspect it's based on the number of visitors at the same time, and the number of posters at the same time, possibly tying up the server?
I have no idea how large/fast/or capable the server is, but the speed varies.

Re: slow
I frequent about 5 different message boards and overall this one is usually the best as for speed and reliability.
Of course, those Aumish twig bending boards tend to lack up-to-date servers and stuff so it's all relative I guess

Re: slow
For some reason, when I use the wife's Mac laptop when we're out of town, this site is so slow I just give up. That's with cable/wireless, and other sites are no problem. On this here library PC it's fine.
