Thread: The NEW InspectionNews is back on-line!

Well, I've worked about 19 hours straight on this new message board trying to get it up and running for you today.

Much of the upgrades are done but there are still many more to go.

The function of the board should be much the same as it was but if you run into any problems or questions please let me know. I will respond sometime in the afternoon.

I hope you enjoy the new site! Time for a little sleep for me.

Brian - Hope you are surviving all the "little things" that have crept out of the shadows. Tnx for the e-mail update and I'm sure you got plenty of them.

For the brief visit I had yesterday AM and my quick view today ... I really like the new format.

I apologize for the time the message board was down. Ran into some major issues while updating the database and server software

However, it was nice to see how many of you are addicted to this site and sent me emails trying to figure out how to login.

FYI when I clicked on the New Posts button and scrolled through the list it ended up with 19 of 28 showing on the first page.

There were no buttons to let me go to the 'next page' of New Posts.

I'm using Firefox and the most recent version of that browser and my OS in Windows 7 on a Dell 830 laptop.

Nolan, Thanks for the info. I will see if I can figure that out.

Now for my next trick I will attempt to send out the New Email Digest. Let see what happens.

Jeff, it will get even better for mobile users with an app to use to access the site.

I will be working on this as soon as I'm sure the board is stable the way it is.

Did you really get today's digest? I can't tell if it sent. It doesn't look like it did.

The new one will have the InspectionNews logo at the top and be formatted much nicer than the old ones.

Did you really get a new one?

I was not able to get in earlier but can now(obviously). Looks good so far will have to surf around a bit.

Looks good so far Brian. Keep up the good work.

While it was down, I got some goofy connections, like one telling me I had to download something called Zend. I haven't tried all the features yet, but I am figuring it out.

Some of us amuse ourselves with sprinkling in an occasional emoticon. I'd suggest a better collection of emoticons, if possible.

Brian, your efforts are greatly appreciated by all of us who enjoy (or in some cases, are addicted to) the site. Thanx again!
