I remember seeing Jimi Hendrix in about 1968(?), and he did sing " 'scuse me while I kiss this guy". He then went over and kissed Mitch Mitchell (the drummer).

He is pronouncing the words right, its when it comes through that set of F----- up set of teeth it gets distorted somewhat.

He definitely sings "bathroom on the right" in concert. I've seen him a couple of times in the last five years, and he did it every time.
