Default New construction, always new appliances?

Is it stated in the code anywhere that everything that goes into a new house must be new. For instance, could a builder use a furnace from a 10 year old house or faucets and fixtures from an older house?

I can also see the possibility if someone wanted to use older (used) stuff for certain architectural reasons... Like faucets, fixtures or finish stuff.
