Diabetic Wesite
For those of you with diabetes (like me) or with a relative with diabetes, there is a new website for those with diabetes (or their relatives). I have been finding some useful information, plus I have been enjoying the on-line discussions. The website is www.tudiabetes.com.

Travis,

My dad is a diabetic and one thing he is doing is using cinnamon on his food which supposedly lowers the blood sugars.

I can tell you this that ever since they did a news story on it here on TV, you cannot find cinnamon in the stores.

The only thing I'm trying to convince my dad is eating more fresh baked cinnamon rolls is not the answer.

Check you blood and check it often. Right!

Rick:

Tell your Dad that Pupernickel (very low in carbs) Cinnamon Rolls are the answer! Even if they are made, I doubt that he can keep them down.
