securing I beam at Foundation wall
I saw a I beam today that was sitting on a 90 degreen turn on foundations wall that was not secured on the opening end at all, I trying to check the IRC , but could not find the regulations for securing, Could anyone tell me where to look to find the securement requirements. thanks

What kind of beam? Steel or Engineered lumber? APA has a ton of information on engineered wood at their site APA - The Engineered Wood Association
