Hope all is well!
It's a spooky feeling isn't it? Our last "big" one up here went on for what seemed to be an eternity and I remember thinking during the whole time "Is this it or is it going to get a lot worse?". Nice when it's over although my chimney took the brunt. Freshly tuck-pointed a year previous and I had to replace the whole thing.
Hard to whine too much after seeing the footage from China.
And...if it weren't for tectonic plates moving around and constantly pushing up new crust, the land would have all eroded away by now leaving us with Kansas or Waterworld. I guess we should be grateful?
