HERS Rater
Is anybody a RESNET certified HERS Rater? If you are - is it profitable? Where did you get your training?

Re: HERS Rater
Will be going for the certification in two weeks.

I'll be taking the trip to Atlanta to visit Southface Energy.

Re: HERS Rater
Nick,

A HERS Rater is an energy rater. A HERS rating is required in new construction if you want an Energy Star rating and if you want your new house to be certified "Green" by certifing groups. Raters help in the design process, the testing process during construction (duct blaster and blower door tests), and the energy inspection process. The more that "Green" building grows the more need for HERS Raters.
