Good Cigars
Sorry to hear about your loss Anthony, But how many inspectors out there enjoy a good cigar in the evening? My son goes to Nicaragua every year on mission trips and brings back some of the best cigars in the world. I love a real Cuba cohiba and a Nicaragua joya De esteli but my local favorite is romeo y julieta. It would be great to sit down with all you guys and gals and have a good smoke some day. I can think of nothing that could bring all the different personalities on this board together than a good cigar.

Re: Good Cigars
In my opinion, the only "good cigar" is one NOT LIT and still tucked away in its wrapper someplace were it does not stink the place up.

So guys, but you cigar smokers out in public are worse than guys who go around farting in ones face.

Take them outside, out back, by the garbage dumpsters, don't ruin the air for the rest of us.

Re: Good Cigars
Im not much of a cigar smoker. Put a blindfold on me and put a swisher sweet and a cuban in front of me to taste and I probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference

Dad used to smoke 2 cigars a night inside the house. I never understood why he did that in the house. One cigar puts out as much smoke as a pack of cigs. ALthough I do love the smell of a good lit cigar. I just dont see the need to do it indoors.

SO you cigar smokers out there...keep on smokin them, I have no issue with that. Enjoy

Re: Good Cigars
I have to side with Jerry on this one. I find the odor offensive and think it has no place inside.

Gotta side with Jerry and Jack. Cigar smoke reminds me of burning cow chips!

Re: Good Cigars
And gee Jerry.

Can't you just put that beautiful thought in your mind of a beautiful big fat unwashed woman licking and spitting on your cigar and rolling it on her fat thighs.

Yeah, yeah. They may not do that anymore (some do) but I just cannot get that picture out of my head to pic one of those things up and stick it in my mouth.

The smoking inside thing. Forget about it, cigarette or cigar or pipe.

Jerry have you tried not breathing?

Too bad for those who enjoy a good smoke that Americans cannot get Cuban cigars. Up here we can get them readily.

When last in Cuba (1990) I bought a box of Dom Perginons for $250, up here they retailed for $2500!

Re: Good Cigars
I'm not big on cigars either, but to each his own.

I personally love the smell of a big bowl in a pipe burning though.

I used to smoke a pack of cigs a day, but 10 yrs. ago on Christmas eve I just gave up on them cold turkey and hadn't touched one since.

Never smoked in the house though. The kids hated it so I gave them the respect of not having to breath it.

Don't know where to start, so I'll just respond to this one and let it be ...

Nope ... I piss on it and put it out.
