Default Need advice for uploading photos

I keep having trouble uploading photos. I think I may have my camera on the wrong setting. Does everyone take photos on the VGA(640x480) setting or resize them before uploading? Does it effect the quality of the photo(for the report) either way?

Are you talking about uploading photos to the Inspection News site or inserting photos into a report?

When you resize a photo you lose some detail. (I am talking about reducing the size of the file.) Depending on what you are doing with the photo that may or may not be a concern. If you are resizing the photo to pop it into a report you will probably be fine. If you intend to print a wall-size poster you will probably not like the results.
