It is amazing what we see in our inspecting process. All it takes is an exact set of circumstances for the huse to burn but I have seen things that have been a certain way for decades and the homes have not burned down yet and they should have by the laws of what should have happened decades before. Then you get a home with one screw thru a wire and the breker does not pop or a toater does not pop up and the cabinet overheats and the home is lost in minutes.

Like I said the exact right circumstance and there goes the house, maybe.

Plus, because the water heater flue pipe had about 10 feet of horizontal run and one foot of vertical, it wasn't drafting real good.
