Crown furnace age?
Looking for age for this Crown Boiler Furnace, serial number DN201672. It looks relatively new.

Re: Crown furnace age?
I can't read what is in the lower left corner - any date in there?
Usually I see a year after a standard, which indicates it was made that year or later, such as 'UL STD 727-06' which would indicate the year of the standard is 2006, but I see no year after those standards.
I looked up UL 727 and its date of publication was (man did I just guess lucky in the above) Mar, 31, 2006 (looks like that is Edition 9).

Manual from the Crown boiler site
Page 3 references 2001 standards. Wouldn't it be nice if everybody just stamped the date of birth on everything?

Re: Crown furnace age?
From the CAN/CSA STD B140.4, it is a canadian standard for oil-fired warm air furnaces with 3 editions of 2004, 1974 and 1971. I see no year after the standard number, so it is no use to estimate the age too.
