How Many Ways Can You Disrespect a B Vent?
In this case, three times, all within 10 feet of one another. This was in a townhome with a 3rd floor finished room and spray foam insulation applied to the underside of the roof framing and decking.

I can add a few Nick but good pick up:
-B-vent exposed in living space instead of boxed in
-no listed firestop/ spacer at second floor ceiling
-no support for lower elbow
-no support for vertical pipe from attic through roof
-no insulation shield in attic
Keep the fire in the fireplace.

I don't think many installers around here know what a listed firestop/spacer is. 99% of the ones I see are sheet metal that have been cut on-site.
