    Default Air handler tonnage

    Hello!

Could someone give me the tonnage to this air handler. It is a ICP and the model number is NEBF034AK01. The serial number is H614 78453 which is not indicative of ICP numbers. Actually it was a sticker put over the original serial number plate. But I know it is old, just need the tonnage!

    Thanks,

    Jim

I believe they called that a 3 ton unit as the model numbers shows it as 34,000 Btu and the 3 ton labeling is 'approximate', very few are *exactly* the Btu associated with the stated tonnage of 12,000 Btu per ton.

You will also find many rated at 37,000 and it is still a 3 ton unit.

    Thanks Jerry!

I know that the old Lennox models have a weird number scheme such as 41 represents 3 ton and etc. I could not find anything on this model, however it is old!
