    Default Furnace Installation

I hope the sump pump and sewage ejector pump don't need to be serviced or changed any time soon.

Yeah, I come across those from time to time around here as well. Those tend to be long reports since the rest of the house is also screwed up. Had one a couple years ago where the ejector pit was right in front of the main panel. You either had to stand on the pit or be Mr. Stretch.
Obviously no one with a brain is paying attention on those jobsites.

Looks like an unsealed opening in the sewage ejector vent line.

You are correct. Another of many noted issues in that utility closet.

A licensed HVAC tech put that furnace in and some city inspector signed off on it.......who says licensing improves professionalism.........

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Did it have any "Passed" inspection stickers from the local authority?

Non that I noticed but I wasn't looking for them either.
