Default B-Vent Is Exhausting Bathroom Vent Fans

At yesterday's inspection, the walk around the house showed the furnace and gas water heaters were high efficient models with PVC exhaust pipes. When I got up on the roof, I saw this b-vent and thought it looked too short for the pitch of the roof and wondered what it was being used for. After getting into the basement, I see the b-vent is no longer in use......in the basement that is. When I got into the attic, I saw the owners had decided to use the b-vent through the roof as the exhaust for the bath vent fans. It doesn't appear to be working too well.

It would be ok for one but they are not to be ducted together.

The beatings will continue until morale has improved. mgt.
