Default Gas vent clearance from evaporating cooler.

Gas vent is next to the evaporating cooler on roof. Difficult to re-route, recommending extension of minimum of 24 inches with 36 inches above the top of cooler would be best. Is there any rules or regulations as to how high above the cooler the top of vent should be?

The flue should be 2 feet higher than cooler, 10 minute job. I see it here all the time and wonder if the last residents died or are in the hospital. The furnace and cooler will never run at the same time but water heater and cooler will. I like the powered attic vent right there too.
