04-18-2007, 04:22 AM #1 Disconnected Wire Disconnected WireThis wire is connected to the AC unit and runs along the low pressure line (which obiously need to be reinsulated) but is not connected to anything else. Anyone know why?
Also, the refrigerant lines run along the ground for about 8 feet before entering the house.

If it is not connected, it 'was' the thermostat wire and has been replaced with a new wire for whatever reasons.

You are referring to the wire on the right side of the gas meter, not the one on the left side, right?

The one on the right side is another view of the thermostat wire in your previous photo. The one on the left side is a tracer wire for the gas piping underground, it does not get connected to anything.
